2008 STATE ROCK'N'ROLL DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS

The State Rock'n'Roll Dance Championships were held at the Heritage Bar & Grill Reception Centre in Epping on Saturday 10 May 2008.
The crowd really enjoyed the afternoon Heats and the evening Finals were booked out.
On the Friday night another large crowd enjoyed an evening of social dancing to the music of The Vincents and DJ Flash Gordon at Clive's Northside Dance.
A special treat on the Saturday night was the social dancing to music of Shadoogie.
In a first for the Championships Shadoogie played live for both the Adult and Youth State Titles.
Another first was the introduction of a new event - Nifty 50's Lifts
The VRRDA Committee would like to thank all those who joined in, both the dancers and the audience.
Special thanks are due to the volunteer helpers, the Judges and the Sponsors.
