Reception at VK3AVV

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Latitude: 37°47' S, Longitude: 145°05' E, Locator: QF22mf

The receiver is an Icom R-75. The antenna is a Diamond CB-6, multiband vertical, base at a height of 5 meters above ground. The antenna is non-resonent on 18 and 12m WARC bands, so signal strength are probably lower than should be on those bands. A more appropriate antenna is on order.

See Notes for operational restrictions. The QTH is in a high noise suburban area, about S4 on 20m on a good day.

Beacon motitoring is performed by Faros Ver. 1.3
