2006 Winners:

Biggest Fish - Brendan Berginey with a 13kg Cod  (The first person to win it twice).
Biggest Team Haul - Team Bundy skippered by Plathy.  Crew members Bergo, Hobbit & Azza landed a record catch of 50 fish & record amount of points (140).
John Green Award - Not named, no-one owned up.

RULE 1: Trip organizer makes the rules.

RULE 2: Please refer to rule number 1.

RULE 3: All teams must have a name, only 1 boat per team.

RULE 4: All barra caught must have an eye test and if deemed blind will be disqualified and must be surrended to the judges.

RULE 5: Any red fish with blue spots that are weighed in (e.g. coral trout), will be confiscated and checked for disease. Sick fish must be surrended to the judges.

RULE 6: Judges decision is final, no protest or bribes will be accepted (we drink Wild Turkey).

RULE 7: Weigh in at 5.00pm in front of units. 1 point per kilo, 1 point per species. All fish must be legal length and edible, (no catfish, sharks or stingrays). Batfish are edible.

RULE 8: Fish can be captured on any legal tackle, (spearguns are legal). Please no drag nets or dynamite.

PRIZES:

TEAMS: Most points and most fish.
INDIVIDUAL: Biggest fish.
WORST FISHERMAN: John Green Breen Award.
JUDGES: Bazza Nick, Bob Harvey, Steve Craig.
