An absolute blinder of a round by Billy Cassar has seen him blitz the Rich River Classic. For the first time the classic was held over two rounds and with scores of Nett 74 and wait for it…..Nett 59, Billy won the chocolates by 9 shots from Sean Emery.

Congratulations must also go to Dave Cox for winning the Matchplay competition for the year. A classic battle of nerves and an unfortunate injury to opponent Gary Callen saw Dave hold on to the end.

A season long show of superb consistency saw Gary Smith take out the coveted Club Champion trophy for the year. Well done Gary and we look forward to having you in our team for Country week next year.

And finally a very special mention must go out to our sponsors who provided over $2000 worth of prizes and trophies for this year’s event at Rich River. We ask that all members support our sponsor’s as much as possible.
