Welcome to the humble home of Under-The-House
Recording. In just getting off to a start, you’ll find an agreeable
environment in which to do your work. I am building on a Fostex R8
analog format, and believe that, even with what the digital world has to
offer, it’s the analog response that is most lifelike. With up-to-date
sound reinforcement, you can expect your projects to be very pleasing
finished products.
Having been involved in music and recording for over 40 years, I offer
adequate engineering, copyright and publishing, and enough experience to
produce a sound based on what you prefer, and what the listener will
appreciate. I apply what I would expect from a sound company as a
primary relationship to you, and respect, very well, that approximately 99%
of we artists are “starving”. At the root of our relationship is the
idea that you have spent a lot of time crafting your work.
As for price and financing, I don’t mind admitting that I’m a cheap date.
Of course, there is no fee for figuring out what we want to do, whether or
not you decide to pursue a session, or sessions. My intent in this
process is to produce your talents in a way that will regard your future as a
musician, songwriter, and/or performer. Any original material will be
welcome to join the family called Hawkshriek, my publishership with BMI,
Nashville. If you should choose otherwise, there is no problem.
Publishing your work, to me, means nothing more than offering you a form of
security, and you will be in full ownership, legally and rightfully, of all
aspects of your work. But there will always be a guest room at
Hawkshriek, if that is your wish.
There is an acoustic piano available. |
