Welsh Classes in Melbourne

There are Welsh classes for Advanced or native speakers, Intermediate and Beginners in Melbourne.

The classes are very relaxed and there is the opportunity to socialise with other Welsh speakers after the classes.

There is a small charge to cover materials for the classes. The main classes are at the Celtic Club on the first floor at 7pm on a Tuesday within School terms

2010 Classes begin first Tuesday of each of the Victorian School terms

 

First class for the year is Tuesday February the 2nd - 2010

With the advent of the internet and online learning there are many varied opportunities to learn Welsh. Below are some of the ways you can access resources (much of these are free) to supplement our training in Melbourne or on your own. Don't forget that the best way to learn is to use the language so get involved in the various Welsh activities in Australia, where there will be native speakers to help you practice:

CONVERSATIONAL WELSH ONLINE

This is an excellent conversational course for everyday Welsh for North and South Wales

Run by the Welsh Language TV and radio channel S4C this is a free site for learners with lots of interest from their programs. I liked the daily news report which gives English language support for everyday language:
