Cymdeithas Gymreig Canberra

Our aim is to promote Welsh culture

Anyone with an interest in Cymru, its people and history is invited to come to our meetings when in Canberra.
We have a lunch on the first Monday of each month at the Ainslie Football Club, 52 Wakefield Avenue, Ainslie, at 12 noon. Ainslie is close to the business district of north Canberra.
You may prefer to join us at the Canberra Irish Club, 6 Parkinson St. Weston for a meal at 6 pm on the fourth Thursday of most months. You are also very welcome at our regular lessons in Cymraeg, which are held on Wednesdays at the Harmonie German Club, Narrabundah. These informal and friendly gatherings have been operating for eleven years.
Our Society also holds a mid-winter feast at various locations, runs social evenings, supports school choirs entering the Welsh Song division of the Australian National Eisteddfod, and it also has a Welsh & Cornish Folk Dancing group.
There are of course other activities, and these are reported in our quarterly newsletter, which can be e-mailed to you you as a pdf file. Contact us by e-mail at the address shown on this page.

To save us from spam please put `Cymdeithas' as your subject heading. Letters without this heading have to be deleted. Or you can mail GPO Box 1034 Canberra ACT 2601. Croesewir gohebiaeth Gymraeg wrth gwrs.
