How You Can Help

We are funded entirely by private individuals who understand the importance of our work. We receive no government assistance are not attached to any other body or organisation. Our donors’ identities are kept from our mediation staff to prevent any possibility of bias. Our volunteers are not paid for their work, and give up many hours, days, and sometimes weeks of their own time without thought of reward.

The TSF owns and maintains a resource of equipment and information for use by volunteers. This equipment including maps and aerial photographs of target areas, and items needed to ensure our searches are conducted safely, including navigational and communications equipment.

We also support the transport costs of volunteer mediators, who travel for many hours to provide their assistance to remote communities and interest groups. Much of our equipment it is on ‘permanent loan’ from our dedicated volunteers.

It is only through donations from the general public that we can afford to maintain and expand this invaluable resource, and assist our mediators.
