The South Coast and Tablelands Region Web Site
was first created in May 2002 at the request of the then Region Commissioner George Kolsky.

The first version was presented at the Commissioners Conference of that year to lukewarm response.

Appeals in the ensuing years for content submissions resulted in little forthcoming and the content of the site became a struggle to maintain interest and accuracy. Only occasionally were corrections notified to me, often months after changes in Region Personnel were made. I did however receive encouragement from overseas Scouters for the Scouts Own and Activity Ideas materials.
While I strode to "Do My Best" in the Scout tradition and at no small personal expense the Web Site has been deemed to be inadequate for Region's needs in 2012.

Now, nearly 10 years on, a committee has been formed to revamp the site and make it more relevant to the Regions operations. This committee has been talking for some months now with minor progress.

However the time has come for me to remove the site I created from my ISP and move on. I hope some of you appreciated my amateur efforts over the years.
Content created by me will remain in my possession as Intellectual Property but should any of you
want anything for personal Scout use please contact me by March 1st 2012.
